Cruise the waters of Blue Hill bay aboard our 11-passenger downeast-style lobster boat. Boat trips for families, adults, and children are offered from July 6th through August 18th.

Coastal Monitoring Excursion
For Adults and Families
Tuesdays 10 am - 2 pm
Join MERI researchers as they demonstrate various aspects of MERI's coastal monitoring and seal research programs. You will learn how phytoplankton is monitored - watching for the outbreak of a harmful algal bloom - how seal populations are assessed and what to do if you find a stranded seal, what water quality parameters are the important ones, and the many ways marine debris finds its ways to the shores of the islands of Blue Hill Bay. Expect to visit an island and experience hands-on science. For adults and families (children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult), $60 for adults, $40 for children 15 and under.
